Wave AP Micro – PtMP access point at 60 GHz with Wave technology.
The Ubiquiti Wave AP Micro is a PtMP access point at 60 GHz that uses advanced Wave technology. It is ideal for ISPs that want to offer fast and reliable Internet access in urban and suburban areas.
The Wave AP Micro access point can cover a 90° area, with a range of up to 3 km for local built-up areas. It has a 5 Gbps (2.5 Gbps duplex) main radio and an 800 Mbps weatherproof backup radio at 5 GHz.
It can support up to 15 clients: Wave Long-Range (6 km link range) or Wave Nano (4 km link range).
The WAVE-AP-MICRO access point has (1) 2.5 GbE WAN port and integrated GPS and Bluetooth. It can be easily mounted on a mast or wall with a bracket. It can also be easily configured and monitored using a mobile app or the UISP platform.
The Wave AP Micro access point uses innovative Wave technology, which is based on the IEEE 802.11ay protocol. This technology provides better performance and stability than traditional 60 GHz solutions.
